Ironfire is a range of furniture designed to slot into and complement most room schemes. It has been called contemporary with an industrial twist but we actually set out to emphasise the beauty of organic materials with simple, pared down and elegant use of metal and wood.

Our Classic wood and metal console table is made with chunky wooden planks and has a storage shelf underneath, both made from 32mm Douglas Fir or 28mm Rustic Oak. (That’s character Oak with all its natural character, knots, grain and patina left in).

We like to help our customers imagination run riot by giving them the choice of different formats of our designs and we then colour our wooden furniture tops.

Because you deal directly with us, the makers, you select exactly how your timber console table surface is finished – from hundreds of colours.

Our tables are all 800mm high but our range includes occasional tables or side tables that are 435mm high and compliment an ironfire coffee table. Customers often in fact order both as a set in the same surface finish.

Everything metal on out tables is galvanised steel. We guarantee these metal parts against rust penetration for 5 years, whether used outside or in. We do however recommend our covers to keep them clean and in good condition.

An important feature of ironfire console tables is that every component is easily changed, though because they’re so strongly made that should only be called for if they get damaged. In fact: our concept of sustainability is in part based on products built to last and last and able to be updated by us or yourself when the time comes to refreshing your room. Sustainability is also about making everything here in this country from British sourced materials.

Here’s how to configure a unique wooden console table with shelf storage – easily!

Once you have selected format, finish and size a price will be displayed – just change any of your choices to update that price or click on CLEAR SELECTION to start over.

First: Choose your console table version.

Classic: A Solid wooden top and a solid wooden shelf (you can specify if you want glass tops later)

50:50: This comes with a top with a wooden surround frame and includes one sheet of toughened glass. Underneath it has a Solid wood or Oak shelf.

Infinity: In this version both Shelf and Top have a wooden surround frame and a sheet of glass. (Includes 2 x toughened glass tops)

Minimal Glass: Wooden frame surround top and one sheet of glass. This one is made without a shelf.

Minimal Solid: Wooden Top but no shelf. (you can specify if you want a glass topper later).

When you’ve decided – click on that option and move to next section.

Second: Choose your finish.

If you hover on one of our popular colours you’ll see more information about that option.

if you want a specific colour then go to the dropdown at the end of our popular colours and choose from another 200+.

All of our wood is 32mm thick sustainable British Douglas Fir dried and then primed and our coatings are UV stable. We then finish with hard wearing matt topcoat. That means surfaces are water stain resistant but retain all the beauty of natural wood.

Once you have made up your mind click to select and move to next section.

Third: Choose your size.

Our console tables are all 800mm high and have a hole in the bottom of each leg so you can fit castors if you wish.

We have console tables from 350mm to1400mm Square or rectangular. We can make you an extra large console table with matching side tables that sit next to your sofas too.

Once you have found your size and clicked to select it, move on to the next Section.

Fourth: Tell us if you want to use your tables inside or outdoors.

That will offer then you options: Indoors (extra glass toppers?) or outdoors (do you want covers?) and a choice of fixings.

Lastly: Detail any special instructions in the box provided and when you are ready just click ADD TO BASKET. We deliver direct to you home to make sure you are delighted with your piece and we only charge one low fee per order. That’s the only extra that we add.
